Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first year of Doubter’s Choice Café! We had hundreds of people join us after Mass last year where many experienced welcome and a sense of community (and certainly a good cup of coffee). This year we are planning on featuring Local Roasters to take advantage of the many good coffee roasters we have in Ann Arbor. We be meeting after the 9 am and 11 am Masses on the scheduled dates:
March 5th – Roos Roast
April 2nd – Mighty Good Coffee
May 7th – Sweetwater’s Coffee
Baked Goods – In order to continue providing home-made baked goods, we will need assistance baking. For the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM Masses combined, we will need approximately 300 individual servings of baked goods (breads, muffins, cookies, etc.). We certainly don’t expect a single parishioner to be able to bring the full amount–though if you can, that’s great! Otherwise, any amount will help immensely.
Please let us know if you are able to bring something and the quantity you will bring. We ask that anything you bring be completely nut free, and to include a list of ingredients with your baked goods. These should be dropped either the previous Friday before 4pm (if baked goods can be refrigerated and kept.) OR preferably dropped off the morning of (before or after the 9am or 11am Masses). They can be dropped off near the school gym by the double glass doors (down the ramp – not the stairs) and taken to the Parish Hall Kitchen (take a right) or the gym (take a left).
Set-up – Set up begins at 9am and takes about an hour. If you are willing to help with this process let us know. Instructions will begin at arrival, meet in the parish hall kitchen by going through the double glass doors near the school and take a right.
Clean-up – cleanup occurs around 12:45 PM – 1:00 PM depending on when Mass is completed and when people leave. This involves cleaning up the kitchen, taking out trash, and taking down chairs and tables.
