The St. Thomas the Apostle Parish Legacy Society is a new and special way of promoting, recognizing and honoring planned gifts to our parish and school. We invite you to learn about and enroll in the Legacy Society.
What is the Legacy Society?
Our Legacy Society is made up of parishioners who have decided to remember our parish and school through planned giving. These legacy gifts – like a will or living trust bequest , or other deferred means of giving – provide for the future financial needs of our parish and school. Members of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish Legacy Society give, or make provision for future giving, to memorialize God’s incredible goodness to us. Remember, everything we have is a gift from God. The Legacy Society provides a vehicle to recognize, honor and thank all who show their gratitude to God in this extraordinary way.
Why consider a legacy gift?
As past generations of parishioners have provided such generous financial support over the long and rich history of this parish, you now have the opportunity to provide a substantial gift that will support the parish for generations to come. This will be your legacy! Also, there may be significant tax and estate planning advantages to making a legacy gift.
Becoming a member of the Legacy Society means:
Your family will be remembered perpetually in a monthly Mass (12:10pm First Friday of the month)
You will receive a personal invitation to attend an annual dinner for Legacy Society members
Your name will be listed (unless you choose to remain anonymous) in Legacy Society publishings as a way to honor your generosity and encourage others who may be considering similar acts of generosity
The amount and details of your legacy gift will never be publicly disclosed
How do I become a member?
You simply inform the parish that you’ve made provisions for the parish to benefit from your generosity in the future. Fill out the simple Enrollment and Statement of Intent form and turn it in to the parish office. Someone will contact you. You can also enroll here on our website: Enrollment and Statement of Intent – click here
