About the Speaker:
Dr. Janet E. Smith is the author, editor or contributor to various works on Life Issues, Bioethics, Humanae Vitae, Same Sex Attraction, and Catholic Moral Theology. More than two million copies of her talk, “Contraception: Why Not” have been distributed. Prof. Janet E. Smith speaks nationally and internationally on the Catholic teachings on sexuality and on bioethics and has published numerous articles on sexuality and bioethics. She is serving a third term as a consultor to the Pontifical Council on the Family. She has appeared on the Geraldo show, Fox Morning News, CNN International, CNN Newsroom, Al Jazeera, and has done many shows for various series on EWTN.



A four-part series on prayer by Jack Lynch:

March 29 & April 5, May 17 & 24

Connecting With God is a four-talk seminar on the crucial importance of personal prayer. [Topics include motivation, confidence, what to do and overcoming obstacles in prayer.] Drawing from Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition, the greatest Saints and Doctors of the Church, The Catechism of the Catholic Churchand a lifetime in the study and practice of prayer, it aims to help Catholics establish a solid prayer life as the means to a deeper and more transformative relationship with God, resulting in “the outcome of your faith… the salvation of your souls”. 1 Pet 1:9

About the Speaker:

Jack is a graduate of the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service with a B.S. in International Affairs. He currently serves as the Radio and TV producer for Renewal Ministries, a Catholic non-profit located in Ann Arbor.  He has been active as a leader and speaker in seminars designed to lead Catholics into the fullness of the graces of their Baptism and Confirmation for decades. He has spoken on prayer regularly, and is the creator of a four-talk seminar on prayer, Connecting With God. Jack and his wife, Lisa, have five adult children, and nine grandchildren.
